Jonah 1:3 (KJV) - But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD, and went down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD.

EXPOSITION

Jonah was an example of ungodly decision born out of emotion, in that he went against what God wanted from him.

Many of us have and are still making such moves, these could be as a result of pride, selfish reasons among others, which however could lead to pain, suffering and even death. No one can hide from God Psalm 24:1-2, only God can be hidden from a man. It is better to be led of God than to be emotionally led.

May God not hide his face from us.

COVENANT PRAYERS

1.  May your steps be ordered by God in Jesus name

2.  Every ungodly decision contending with your mind die now in Jesus name.

3.  The Lord by Grace lead you on the right path in Jesus name.

4.  May the devil not Influence you against your destiny in Jesus name.
