REMAIN IN MY SERVICE
1 Samuel 16:22 (NIV) - “Then Saul sent word to Jesse, saying, “Allow David to REMAIN IN MY SERVICE, for I am pleased with him.”

EXPOSITION:
Prior to David arrival in the king's service, there were many people who served under Saul. But within the short period David served the king, he wouldn't let him go. David did not only faithfully served in the family business, or the king's business but also God. Little wonder God would established his kingdom forever.

Looking at how you serve at your place of work, community, and in the house of God, would anyone wish to retain you? You must serve to please God and be faithful in service to. Choose to be recommendable and irreplaceable!

COVENANT PRAYERS

  1. May you be a workman approved of God and men in Jesus name.
  2. May you be called a faithful servant on your duty post in Jesus name.
  3. May the Lord make you worthy of double honor in Jesus name.
  4. May you not be wise in your own eyes to go against God's desires with excuses, like Adam and Eve in Jesus name.
