The concept of new wine requires a heart that is ready to be transformed, a willingness to let go of the old, and a deep desire to embrace the fresh work and spirit of God. New wine is positioning yourself to receive the fullness of God’s spirit and His blessings in your life.

New wine is the fresh work of God’s spirit, new beginnings, and spiritual blessings. As a child of God, the benefits of new wine will be a significant transformation in your life, and your journey of purpose on earth. For instance, Saul who became an Apostle of Christ was transformed when he encountered the new wine on his way to Damascus. Acts 9vs1-15.

New wine will activate a profound change and turnaround in your life. The following are the blessings or benefits that you will enjoy after you have encountered or entered into the realm of new wine.

  1. New wine will bring a refreshed relationship with God. It will revitalize your faith and deepen your intimacy with God. Your life will be shaped into the image of Jesus Christ the master. 2 Corinthians 3vs18. When you enter into the realm of the new wine, you will experience spiritual renewal and growth just like the experience of Apostle Paul mentioned earlier.
  2. Another benefit is empowerment for service. Apostle Paul was operating on his strength as Saul; but immediately he entered into the realm of new wine, he received divine empowerment for service. Acts 9vs10-16. The new wine of God’s spirit empowers you to fulfill your calling; it will activate spiritual gifts that equip you for God’s purpose in your life. New wine will give you the boldness and courage to enter into your divine destiny. Acts 2vs4-14.
  3. Wine also symbolizes joy. When you enter into the realm of new wine, you will be experiencing a deep sense of Joy regardless of circumstances. Nehemiah 8vs10. New wine will propel overflowing joy and blessings in your life. You will be enjoying God’s provision and abundance in your life. Proverbs 3vs10.
  4. New wine brings new opportunities and revelation in the life of a child of God. You will experience open doors to fresh opportunities; there will also be clarity of purpose. Your spiritual eyes will be opened to see things from God’s perspective and discern His guidance.
  5. When you enter into the realm of new wine, another benefit is you will enjoy fruitfulness and impact as a child of God. You will be operating in the fruit of the Holy Spirit; (Galatians 5vs22-23) through which you will be able to touch the lives of others and advance God’s kingdom on earth.
  6. New wine will align you with the promise of the new covenant in Christ Jesus. You will live in the freedom and fullness of Christ’s finished work on the cross of Calvary. You will daily work in the assurance of eternal hope, your faith will be strengthened as you await the ultimate fulfillment of God’s purpose and promises for your life. 1 John 2vs25, Titus 1vs2.

CONCLUSION: New wine often symbolizes the collective work of God among His people. It fosters fellowship among believers as they drink from the same spirit. 1 Corinthians 12vs13.

All the benefits that new wine brings that we have been saying can only be activated in the life of a child of God; a person who has surrendered his or her life to the lordship of Jesus Christ. You need to come to Jesus Christ to be partaker of the new wine, your portion is available; all you need to do is take a bold step of faith in stepping into this new reality in Christ Jesus for your life. And in case you are a child of God but you have not started experiencing all these benefits, it means you need to go up higher. You need to leave the level of being an ordinary Christian to the level of intimacy and deep relationship with God. Come up higher for you to start enjoying your birthright in Christ Jesus.
