A CORRUPT TREE

Matthew 7:18 - A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can A CORRUPT TREE bring forth good fruit.

EXPOSITION:

Jesus said that a good tree will always produce good fruit, while a corrupt tree will produce evil fruit. Then, it appears to me that the corrupt tree was once good before being corrupted.

You need to watch it when your good tree begins to bring forth evil fruits such as anger, hatred, bitterness, envy, doubt, unbelief, pride, unforgiveness, division, arrogance, etc. These are signs that something has gone wrong within. A tree does not suddenly become corrupt without something affecting its root; likewise, when these evil fruits begin to manifest in our lives, we need to examine what is happening within us.

However, there is hope. You can always run back to the Vinedresser, Jesus, who specializes in making the corrupt good again. He can cleanse the heart, restore the mind, renew the life, and cause good fruit to grow again.

What has become corrupt can be restored in the hands of the Vinedresser.

COVENANT PRAYERS

1.  The Lord remove every corruption from within you and make your life better in Jesus name.

2.  May the Lord cleanse you from every evil identity in Jesus name.

3.  Your life and destiny will not be wasted in Jesus name

4.  May your good works speak for you  and your family for favor in Jesus name.
