SPIRIT CONTROLLED BELIEVER

Matthew 4:1 (AMP) - Then Jesus was led by the [Holy] Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.

EXPOSITION:
It is amazing to see the impact of the Holy Spirit upon Jesus Christ while He was on earth. This shows how important the ministry of the Holy Spirit is in the life of every Christian. The Holy Spirit knows what is best for us and knows the things that are necessary for our spiritual growth, such that at the end, we will glorify God for them.

For Jesus, being led into the wilderness was necessary, and the temptation was part of the process through which His integrity and obedience as the Son of God were revealed. In the same way, the Holy Spirit may warn you about certain things or give you instructions that may not always be easy to obey. However, when you submit to His leading, the outcome will ultimately bring glory to God and end in praise.

Until you learn to submit yourself completely to the leading and direction of the Holy Spirit, you cannot truly be called a SPIRIT CONTROLLED CHRISTIAN.

COVENANT PRAYERS

  1. May the Holy Spirit be the leader of yourself, home and household in Jesus name.
  2. May the Holy Spirit always take the lead in your life in Jesus name.
  3. May your five senses submit to Supernatural intelligence in Jesus name.
  4. May your spirit always come alive to connect the Holy Spirit in you in Jesus name.
  5. May divine presence continually answer you in Jesus name.
