THE WATERS OF MEROM

Joshua 11:5 - All these kings joined forces; they came and camped together at THE WATER OF MEROM to attack Israel.

EXPOSITION

There are lessons to learn after the Israelites conquered the five kings of Amorite, the Northern kings of Canaan also joined forces against them and camped at the water of Merom to attack:

(1). After every victory, get prepared for another battle. Not yet time for celebration - partying, clubbing, living loose or carelessly.

(2). You must trust God to discover and map-out their camp ground - the water of Merom.

(3). You must rely on God for instruction or direction to combat them.

(4). Make the first move to launch a surprise attack on the enemy in their camp (Verse 7).

(e). You must trust God for victory (Verse 8).

(f). If possible, leave no survivors! (Verse 8).

In conclusion, go into the enemy's camp, in the strength of the Lord and get back what was stolen.

COVENANT PRAYERS

1.  My Father my Father, I recover all that have been stolen from me in the name of Jesus.

2.  O Lord, I will not be a prey to my enemy in Jesus name.

3.  My Father my Father, I refuse to give up on myself in Jesus name.

4.  Father, grant me more grace to love you than I have ever done in Jesus name.
