HEAVY AND DISPLEASED?

1 Kings 20:43 - And the king of Israel went to his house HEAVY AND DISPLEASED, and came to Samaria.

EXPOSITION

Heaviness (depression, sorrow) and displeasure of life (suicide) is real! And if a whole king could be depressed, what about the rank and file? On different occasions was Ahab found depressed (1 kings 20:7, 21:4) but he rather discussed with the elders or Jezebel but not for once did he turn to God.

When you are heavy and displeased, who do you share your burden with, men or God? To keep it to yourself will only end up in suicidal thoughts. Are you weary and heavy laden? Tell it to Jesus today.

Problem shared with Jesus, is wholly solved.

COVENANT PRAYERS

1. Oh Lord filter every thought in me and allow not the enemy to take advantage of me in Jesus name.

2.  My Father my Father, give me peace from every worries in Jesus name.

3.  Oh Lord I receive grace to live above depression in the name of Jesus.
