SPIRIT CONTROLLED BELIEVER
Matthew 4:1 (AMP) - Then Jesus was led by the [Holy] Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.
EXPOSITION
Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior did not come into the world only to die for our sins; He also came to show us how to live a victorious and God-centered life through Him. One of the most important patterns He demonstrated was complete dependence on the Holy Spirit.
It is worth considering that if Jesus—the Author and Finisher of our faith was led by the Holy Spirit, then it is of great importance that we also allow the Holy Spirit to be fully involved in every area of our lives. From the beginning of His ministry to its fulfillment, Jesus walked in fellowship with the Spirit.
With the Holy Spirit as our guide, there is direction in place of confusion, confidence in place of fear, peace in place of anxiety, and wisdom in place of miscalculation. He is the One who informs, equips, strengthens, and empowers us to stand firm in every season of life.
The Holy Spirit is not merely a divine influence; He is our Helper, Teacher, Comforter, and Friend. Will you make room for Him and cultivate a deeper friendship with Him today?
