ARE YOU REALLY MY SON?

Genesis 27:24 - Again he asked, “ARE YOU REALLY MY SON Esau?” And he replied, “I am.”

EXPOSITION

The above question was asked by Isaac, when the skin and the smell was of Esau but the voice was Jacob: he needed to be sure he was dealing with the right person, however he got it wrong. Just as Isaac, God keep asking same question each time you appear before him to ask for His blessings: "are you really my son?”

Going by the way some people speak, dress, behave, and live, God keep wondering if they are truly his children. They dress like children of God but speak like the people of the world. Not all that claim to be the children of God are recognized as one.  Not until when your WORD match your WALK. This question will persist.

COVENANT PRAYERS

1.  Father, make me fit to be your true son in Jesus name.

2.  Oh Lord, by your spirit I will not be a reproach to your kingdom in Jesus name.

3.  My Father my Father, give me grace to walk extra miles with you in Jesus name.

4.  Oh Lord, help me daily as I pledge my allegiance to you in Jesus name.
