WHOM WE MAY APPOINT

 Acts 6:3 - Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, WHOM WE MAY APPOINT over this business.

EXPOSITION

A time came When there was administrative saga amongst the brethren, where some Grecians widow were been neglected; Peter requested that some men be appointed for the assignment and the requirements has nothing to do with your tribe. They must be men of honest or good report, filled with the Holy Ghost and wisdom. It's noteworthy why the reports about them (character) came before their gifts!

In this generation we tend to celebrate the gifts - tongues, revelation, prophecy, teaching, etc; and neglect the honest reports - godly character and wisdom.

That is the reason for many chaos in our society. In the church for instance, the nagging man or woman is the head of a group, in the circular also, the drug baron is the president of a Nation, a murderer is a king of a town in some cases. Do you have a good report?

COVENANT PRAYERS

1.  Oh Lord, let Christ be fully formed in me in Jesus name.

2.  My Father my Father, break me and remold me to be fit for the master's use in Jesus name.

3.  My Father my Father, I will not be a wrong representative of what the kingdom of God stands for in Jesus name.
