ENDURE SOUND DOCTRINE!

2 Timothy 4:3 - For the time will come when they will not ENDURE SOUND DOCTRINE; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears

EXPOSITION
We are not only admonished to endure hardness, affliction, or suffering, we are also to ENDURE SOUND BIBLICAL DOCTRINES. These are the doctrines or sermons that REPROVE, REBUKE, and encourage long-suffering. It exposes, uncovers, and rebukes or condemns the dark or crooked part of your life, encourages trust only in the Lord, and teaches you the truth and saving power of the Most High.

We are encouraged to endure these messages because they sometimes sound uninteresting, un-motivational, boring and not exactly what you want to hear. The inability to endure will make you a victim of false doctrines.
It is better to ENDURE sound doctrines than to ENJOY lies and heresies.

COVENANT PRAYERS
1. Receive grace to embrace and endure the sound doctrine of Christ in Jesus' name.

2. May you as a Christian be faithful to your calling in Jesus' name.

3. May you not be a victim of Satanic doctrine in Jesus' name.

4. The Lord gives you grace to be humble enough to follow him truly in Jesus' name.
