THE LORD’S INSTRUCTIONS

1 Samuel 15:13 (NIV) - When Samuel reached him, Saul said, “The Lord bless you! I have carried out THE LORD’S INSTRUCTIONS.

EXPOSITION:

The Lord's instruction to Saul when he was to attack the Amalekites was to totally destroy everything and everyone. But Saul spared king Agag and some fat animals and yet claimed he did as was told. His half obedience angered God and Samuel and it led to his rejection.

Has God given you any instruction to carry out and how well are you doing with it? Obeying in part is disobedience to God and it reveals the state of your heart towards Him. God is most delighted in your obedience than your offerings.

COVENANT PRAYERS

1.  O Lord, let the Spirit of complete obedience rest upon me from now henceforth in Jesus name.

2.  My Father my Father, destroy every pride and inner arrogance in me in Jesus name.

3.  My Father my Father, give me a listening hear and a understanding heart in Jesus name.

4.  My Father my Father, help me to be in right place, at the right time with the right people doing the right thing in Jesus name.
