Social media can also affect romantic relationships and friendships. Excessive chatting, inappropriate conversations, secret relationships, and emotional attachments can lead young people into situations that conflict with Christian values.

1 Corinthians 15:33 says, “Evil communications corrupt good manners.”

Christian youths should therefore establish healthy boundaries in their online relationships. Not every person who sends a message deserves access to your personal life. Wisdom is necessary when choosing who to follow, communicate with, and trust.

Use Social Media for God's Glory

Social media can become a platform for ministry. Christian youths can share Bible verses, testimonies, devotionals, Christian music, helpful educational content, and messages of hope.

Jesus said in Matthew 5:16, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

Imagine what could happen if more Christian youths deliberately used their online platforms to spread encouragement and God's Word rather than negativity.
