1.  Acknowledge the Hurt

It’s essential to recognize and acknowledge the pain and hurt caused by the offense. Don't minimize or ignore your feelings. Instead, allow yourself to feel the emotions fully. Luke 17:3-4: “So watch yourselves. If your brother or sister sins against you, rebuke them; and if they repent, forgive them. Even if they sin against you seven times in a day and seven times come back to you saying ‘I repent,’ you must forgive them.”

2.  Choose to Forgive

Forgiveness is a choice, not a feeling. Decide to forgive the person who wronged you, even if you don't feel like it. Matthew 18:21-22Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, 'Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?Jesus answered, ‘I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.”

3.  Pray for the Person

Pray for the person who hurt you. Ask God to bless them and help them grow in their faith and relationship with Him.

Mark 11:25And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.”

Proverb 25-21-2If thine enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat, and if he be thirsty, give him water to drink for thou shall heap coals of fire upon his head, and the Lord shall reward thee.”

4.  Let Go of Resentment

Release the bitterness and resentment that you've been holding onto. Don't dwell on the offense or seek revenge. 2 Corinthians 5:17-18Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation.”

5. Seek Reconciliation

If possible, seek reconciliation with the person who hurt you. This can be challenging, but it's worth it for the sake of healing and restoration.

6.  Trust in God's Plan

It can be challenging to forgive someone who has hurt us deeply. However, we can find comfort in knowing that God has a plan for our lives and that everything works together for our good (Romans 8:28).

7.  Ask for the help of the Holy Spirit

Isaiah 57-15 “For thus saith the high and lofty one that inhabited eternity, whose name is holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble ones, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones”.

Being born again makes it easy to forgive because the Holy Spirit helps you in areas that you are struggling to deal with.

Come to Jesus today

John 3 verse 35The one who believes in the Son has eternal life, but the one who refuses to believe in the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.” John 3:36.

John 3 verse 3 “And Jesus answered and said unto him, "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Romans 10 verse 9If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”

SAY THIS PRAYER AFTER ME

Jesus, I firmly believe that you are the Son of God and that you sacrificed your life on the cross to save me from sin, death, and separation from the Father. I make the decision right now to repent of my crimes, my egotism, and everything else in my life that displeases you. I pick you, Jesus. Jesus, I entrust myself to you. I ask you to come into my life as my Savior and Lord, and I accept your pardon. I pray in Jesus' name for the gift of the Holy Spirit, who will guide me to all truth. I now ask for the Holy Spirit to fill me. Come, Jesus, and fill up my heart. Fill me with your life and love, and guide me toward being the kind of person you want.

Jesus, who is truly loving. Lord, restore me. Live inside of me. Love flowing from me. My status as a slave has been changed to that of a child of God, I announce and decree. I was not left out; I was chosen. God has not given me a spirit of fear but one that is full of power, love, and clear judgment. Thank you. I offer my prayer in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

Praise to Jesus, you are now a born-again believer. Please find the nearest bible-living church and continue to experience God's love.

THANK YOU AND REMAIN EVER BLESSED. JESUS IS LORD FOREVER. AMEN
