The eye is an integral part of the human body, it is the part that enhances quick movement in the journey of life and destiny. And because of its importance, it can determine how far you can go in life and that was what birth that statement that says, What you see is what you get. “The Lord said to Abram, after Lot had separated from him, Lift up your eyes and look from the place where you are, northward and southward and eastward and westward, for all the land that you see I will give to you and to your offspring forever. I will make your offspring as the dust of the earth, so that if one can count the dust of the earth, your offspring also can be counted. Arise, walk through the length and the breadth of the land, for I will give it to you.” So Abram moved his tent and came and settled by the oaks of Mamre, which are at Hebron, and there he built an altar to the Lord” {Genesis 13vs14-18}. The eye is so sensitive that the brain cannot process some information if the eye refuses to send the signal to the brain; that is why what you’ve seen or what you are seeing is a very strong determinant factor of your actions. FACTS ABOUT WHAT YOU SEE OR WHAT YOU ARE SEEING “Then Caleb silenced the people before Moses and said, we should go up and take possession of the land, for we can certainly do it.” - Number 13:30 HOW CAN YOU BE POSITIVE IN YOUR SEEING? Start seeing with the eyes of the spirit. 2 Kings 6vs16-17. It is until you start operating beyond the natural or physical before you can start seeing with the eyes of the spirit. Seeing with the eyes of the spirit is being spiritual about everything that concerns your life and whatever you want to do because the spiritual controls the physical. Be rooted in God alone. Number 13vs30. If you are rooted in Christ, you will be able to see good things in everything around you. Your presence in God will help you to see beyond what others are seeing and help you to see God in everything. Put your total trust in God. Genesis 22vs7-14. You cannot trust God and be put to shame; if you do not trust God a hundred percent, you cannot enjoy His blessings. You cannot have God as your plan B and then see what people that have Him as their only plan will see. It is until you start having God as the only choice that you can enjoy the secret things of God. Be positively minded at all times. Exodus 14vs10-14. “As Pharaoh approached, the Israelites looked up, and there were the Egyptians, marching after them. They were terrified and cried out to the Lord. They said to Moses, was it because there were no graves in Egypt that you brought us to the desert to die? What have you done to us by bringing us out of Egypt? Didn’t we say to you in Egypt, ‘Leave us alone; let us serve the Egyptians’? It would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the desert. Moses answered the people, do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Your state of mind will determine what you are seeing. Somebody that is not positive-minded will hardly get positive results. BENEFITS OF SEEING POSITIVELY Peace of mind. 2 Kings 2vs16-17 When you start seeing positively, you will be operating in the peace of God. This does not mean that there will be no trouble or issue around you, but even in that trouble situation, your mind will be at peace because you know God is in control. It helps one to remain focused. Genesis 39vs7-10 When you are seeing positively, you will remain focused because you know where you are going and what you are seeing. So far you know where you are going is good and positive, you will never allow distractions from anyone or anything to shift your focus. It makes one joyful at all times. Genesis 40vs5-7 “Each of the two men – the cupbearer and the baker of the king of Egypt, who were being held in prison – had a dream the same night, and each dream had a meaning of its own. When Joseph came to them the next morning, he saw that they were dejected. So he asked Pharaoh’s officials who were in custody with him in his master’s house, why do you look so sad today?” This is because whenever you are seeing positively, you will start seeing yourself operating in what you are seeing even when you have not entered into the reality of what you are seeing. You will be having solutions to every problem at all times. Genesis 40vs8-15. Seeing positively will make you become a solution provider because people already know that whenever they come to you with a problem, they will always go back rejoicing. CONCLUSION God the creator of heaven and earth was positive in his vision. That is why He could perform wonders through the act of creation, hence what we are seeing today. {Genesis 1vs1-4}. If you must enjoy the best of God in the land of the living, you have to be positive-minded by seeing things positively because what you see is what you get. If you cannot see it, you cannot get it. {Genesis 13vs14-15}; and for you to start seeing positively, you need the light who is Jesus Christ. Without Jesus Christ in your life, you cannot be positive in your vision and you cannot see beyond your situation or problem. If you are not seeing beyond your problem, it will be difficult for you to move forward in life. Give your life to Jesus Christ and let Him be the eye that you will be using to see.
