It is the heartbeat of God that we walk in His fullness because walking in the fullness of God is what can help us to achieve our purposes and goals in life. Walking in His fullness does not just happen automatically unless we imbibe and follow the instructions and commandments that are available for us in the scripture.

If we must enjoy all the promises, blessings and victories that our Lord Jesus Christ paid the price to give us on the cross of Calvary, we must walk in His fullness. Now, what does it mean to walk in His fullness?

  • Walking in His fullness is committing to acknowledging God in all your ways {Proverbs 3 vs 5-6}.

Many are times we make decisions and then ask God to bless or do what we call rubber stamp them. What is expected of us as youth and young adults is to seek directions from Him (God) on all issues before taking action, and if we do this, it means we are walking in the fullness of God. That is, walking in His fullness is acknowledging God in all you do.

  • Walking in His fullness is not living in anxiety {Philippians 4 vs 6-7}.

This means making a commitment to give all your fears and burdens to the Lord instead of holding unto them and worrying. To operate in the fullness of God as youth and young adults living above anxiety and worries. I am not saying there will not be things that will make you worry but your ability to hand it over to God is what is called walking in His fullness.

  • Walking in His fullness is giving thanks in everything, not for everything. {1 Thessalonians 5 vs 18}. People who live in thankfulness to God appreciate Him and release Him to multiply blessings in their lives. It is expected that you acknowledge God in all that you do or have achieved; many youths live their lives without giving reference to God, they believe that whatever they have achieved is by their power and skills. Giving thanks for everything either good or bad, and living the life of thanksgiving to God is walking in His fullness.
  • Walking in His fullness is living first and foremost for Jesus not for you {Colossians 1 vs 16-19}.

Living your life for Jesus is asking yourself before you make any action of what will be the reactions of Jesus Christ to this issue before you act. That is, thinking about Jesus Christ before you make any decision or action.

  • Walking in His fullness is living in continual hunger for God and being committed to the kingdom work {Matthew 5 vs 6}.

If you are living your life without concern for the lost souls even when the commandment is to go out and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, you cannot say you are living the fullness of God. Walking in His fullness is using the means within your capacity to preach the gospel of Christ Jesus to the world as He has commanded.

  • Walking in His fullness is striving to help others fulfill their calling {John 14 vs 14}.

God has deposited so much into your life and He is blessing you not only because of yourself alone but because He wants you to be a support system to others. When you help the less privileged around you, it means you are living in His fullness.
