MY APPOINTED TIME

Like what the Bible says in the book of Ecclesiastes 3vs 1-8, there is surely an appointed time for everything but the challenge with the youth of my generation (the Gen Z and Gen Alpha) is a lack of patience to wait for God purpose and promises for their lives; Satan has rubbed their heart, he has made them to believe that there is no dignity in waiting.

There are three levels of time mentioned in the Bible that are significant and very important for every child of God to know and understand. The first one is found in the book of Genesis, 18:12-14. The angel of God said to Abraham that according to the time of life, which translates to 'by this time next year.' Some miracles will not take immediate effect even when it was pronounced by God. It took Abraham twenty-five years to receive the promised child; the Angels had to visit to reaffirm the word of God that by this time next year, Sarah would be carrying her baby.

The second level of time frame is in the book of 2 Kings 7vs1. Prophet Elisha said, hear ye the word of the Lord, thus saith the Lord, tomorrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures for barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria. This is all about the second frame of time in the realm of the spirit which is By This Time Tomorrow; the interpretation of this is, that some miracles will take a little while to manifest, you just need to be patient and have faith.

The third level of time is seen in the book of Luke 23vs43 where Jesus Christ our Lord told one of the thieves on the cross; verily I say unto thee, today shall thou be with me in paradise. Meaning that some miracles will take instant effect. But, the challenge with this generation is that they do not want to wait at all for their appointed time, they are running beyond God, and they are using the means from the kingdom of darkness to fast-track their miracle because of fame. The result has always been crisis, trouble, and destruction.

Our God is a God of time and season. He operates in time and season; but, you need to know that our God is not limited by or with time and season. It is unfortunate that many youth of this generation have and are still wasting their time and season due to acts of laziness, ignorance, carelessness, etc. They don't appreciate hard work and integrity any longer, they believe in their arrogant nature which is not the nature of God.

If truly you are a child of God and you want your time to come, there are some things you can do to activate your appointed time just like what Abraham did in the book of Genesis and some other good examples in the Bible.

Pray without season. For every child of God who desires a miracle, prayer and fasting must be part of your journey. If you must achieve your God-given dream in life, you must take prayer and fasting as your way of life. Jesus was talking to his disciples in the book of Matthew 17vs21 that no miracle will happen without fasting and prayer.

I know you may want to ask what about people who received their miracle without fasting and prayer; the truth is, someone had prayed and fasted. The man of God that was used for them had prayed before coming on stage; even the Bible says Jesus Christ our Lord will always separate Himself from prayer and fasting because He knows no miracle will happen without prayer and fasting. And this is what many of the youth of this generation are running from, they do not want to pay the price but they want to get the prize. If you must activate your appointed time, you need to launch yourself into prayer and fasting.
