THE WILL OF THE LORD BE DONE

Acts 21:14 - Because we couldn’t persuade him, we gave up and said nothing more except “May THE WILL OF THE LORD BE DONE.”

EXPOSITION

After so much persuasion from the people of Caesarea for Paul not to go to Jerusalem because of the prophecy of Agabus, Paul insisted on going not mindful of the outcome - death. Eventually the people resolved that, "God's will be done."

On how many occasions have you embraced the counsel of men because it looks safe and rejected the will of God for your life because it's seems vague and uncertain? On the contrary, no place outside the will of God is safe for you. Be mindful of the "seemingly sound counsels" that takes you off God's will.

Against all odds, make up your mind to do God's will.

COVENANT PRAYERS

1. May you receive courage and boldness to embrace and remain in God's will  for your life in Jesus name.

2.  Receive more grace on every side in Jesus name.

3.  May what you utter and meditate not bring you condemnation in Jesus name.
