text to speech
The Bible in Ecclesiastes 3vs1 says, “to everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven”. God's moment is saying positioning yourself for divine visitation because there are moments in life when God suddenly steps into human affairs. These moments are not ordinary; they are the 'theologians' Kairos moments: divine interruptions of human limitation. Many a Christian prays for this divine interruption (The moment of God), but few prepare for it.
The moment of God's appointment is the time when God acts decisively in a situation; it is when waiting gives way to fulfillment; it is when prophecy meets performance. For instance, Sarah’s barrenness ended in Genesis 21 vs 1- 2 when God stepped in. The captivity of Israel ended at the appointed time. Jeremiah 29vs10. The moment of God is man’s appointed time or set time.
Your preparation for God’s moment is necessary because God does nothing casually; he acts according to order and timing, as our anchor Bible verse says (Ecclesiastes 3:1). Unprepared vessels will mishandle divine visitation or intervention, which is also called the moment of God. Preparation determines capacity; God’s arrival does not automatically produce results; readiness determines impact.
How can you prepare for God’s moment?
Joshua 3:5 says, “And Joshua said unto the people, sanctify yourself: for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you”. You need consecration and holiness to prepare for your divine visitation. This is because before God performs wonders, He demands consecration. Holiness not only attracts God; it sustains His presence. Unclean hands and hearts abort the divine moment. The consecration that is demanded includes repentance from known sins, separation from every spiritual distraction, and renewed hunger for purity.
Another thing that is needed is your alignment with God’s will and Word. Romans 12vs2. Although it has been observed that this has been the battle many youths in this generation have been fighting, they find it difficult to align with God’s will and purpose for their lives; they also want to enjoy things of the world, but they have forgotten that God’s moment will never contradict God’s will; misalignment will usually delay divine visitation.
Preparation requires surrender; you cannot be in rebellion and expect revelation. When you submit your decisions to God and walk in obedience, even when it is not comfortable, that is when it will be said of you that you are or you have prepared for God’s moment.
Hebrews 11:6 says, “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him”. Your faith-filled expectation is needed in your preparation for divine visitation because you know not the time of your visitation. God’s moments are often missed because of unbelief or familiarity (what the youth of my generation called "see finished").
Expectation is faith in anticipation. Your faith creates the space for manifestation, which is why you need to be faith-filled at all times so you will not miss your moment.
Luke 18:1 says, “And he spoke a parable unto them to this end, that man ought always to pray, and not to faint”. Your persistent prayer and spiritual sensitivity are important to God’s divine intervention moment. Prayer is not to force God; it is to prepare the heart of men. Prayer will sharpen your spiritual perception; it keeps you sensitive to divine signals. That is why those who usually miss divine moments are often spiritually asleep. If you truly want to enjoy a divine moment, you need to stand up and pray.
