Text to Voice

“For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning”. (Psalm. 30:5)

WEEPING

Weeping represents unpleasant situations or events that bring pain and sorrow. Examples of people that experienced an unpleasant situation in the Bible include:

DAVID – David and his men wept at Ziklag because their families and possessions were taken captive – 1 Samuel 30:4 “Then David and the people that were with him lifted up their voice and wept, until they had no more power to weep”.

HANNAH – She wept before the Lord for a child. Her heart and soul were filled with bitterness. – 1 Samuel 1:10 “And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the LORD, and wept sore”.

Missing heaven will result in eternal weeping – Mat 8:12 “But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth”.

However, weeping is not for the children of God because the Word of God says those who know their God shall be strong and do exploit, Daniel 11:32b. The two characters stated above (David and Hannah) got their victory the moment they knew who they are in Christ Jesus. Weeping is meant to be saying sorry to its victim and not until we are ready to fight it through, it will continue threatening and oppressing.

FOR A NIGHT –

A night represents the duration of the weeping. The book of Ecclesiastes chapter 3 verse 4 says “A time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance”. A night means there is an expiration date for the weeping. A night means the weeping will not continue forever and a night means the day will break and the weeping will be over.

JOY COMETH IN THE MORNING –

No matter how long the night might have stayed, the good news is that the morning will always come with its blessings, favour, goodness and joy unspeakable. Yes, rain might fall for days but the sun will rise again and again. As long as nothing can stop the sun from rising in the morning, nothing shall stop your joy from manifesting in the name of Jesus Christ.

There Are Different Levels Of Joy, But They Have One Thing In Common

ORDINARY JOY – Psalm 16:11: Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures forevermore. Joy comes from being in the presence of God. Even in the midst of storms, trials, and tribulations, the presence of God will surely bring the fullness of joy.

GREAT JOY – Act 8:8: “And there was great joy in that city”. When deliverance from spiritual wickedness takes place, there is always a great joy. Samaria was delivered from unclean spirits, sicknesses, and diseases and there came a great joy in the land. The same thing happens in heaven the very moment a sinner accepted the Lordship of the Lord Jesus Christ in his or her life. God designed His Children unto rejoicing and not the other way round.

EXCEEDING JOY – 1 Peter 4:13: “But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy”. Also, the book of Jude 1:24 says “Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy”. When the glory of Jesus Christ is revealed in the suffering of believers, there shall be exceeding joy.

EXCEEDING GREAT JOY – Matthew 2:10:  “When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy”. This type of joy took place when Jesus (the King of the whole universe) was born. When God came to the earth in the person of Jesus Christ. It will happen again when Jesus returns in His glory at rapture – we must not miss it. So that we can experience the great joy that is awaiting us.

EVERLASTING JOY – Isaiah 35:10: “And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away”. This is the kind of joy that lasts forever and it will only happen when we make heaven. Everlasting joy awaits everyone that make it to heaven.

CONCLUSION

All the joy have one thing in common; Jesus Christ is the giver of joy. Without Jesus Christ, there is no joy. Mat 11:28-30 say “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light”. Your joy can only be found in Jesus Christ. Accept Him into your heart today and be joyful.
