The systems in the world today have made many youth and young adults of this generation believe that life is natural. They do not see life beyond their natural eyes. But the truth is, life is spiritual before it is translated into the natural realm. The life you are living is first embedded in the spiritual realm before it starts speaking in the natural realm, which is the physical realm that we can all see today.
The understanding of life in the spiritual realm gave birth to the topic of this message. Having the understanding that life first exists in the realm of the spirit and that it is until you have established your presence (Your life) in the realm of the spirit before you can start dominating as a human being (as a youth or a child of God) in the physical realm.
To dominate in the realm of the spirit is to secure your gate as a child of God in the spiritual realm. Because a gate in the realm of the spirit is just like a natural gate that you and I know; gates are like doors through which man can enter or exit. Abraham, in the book of Genesis 22vs15-18 secured the gate of generational blessings for himself and generations after him through his act and heart of giving. He first secured the gate in the spiritual realm before the appearance in the manifestation in the physical realm, which we are all claiming today as Father Abraham's blessings.
Genesis 34vs20 makes us understand that the gate is a place where Elders come together to meet; the Gate is a place where decisions of life are being made. Ruth 4vs1-4 Gates in the spiritual realm are where decisions that will make or mar man’s life are made. The gate is a place of judgment, judgment that will favor man’s journey in life, or the one that will damage his life is being made at the gate. Deuteronomy 22vs23-24 When you secure your dominion at the gate, you will see yourself domination in your dealings because the gate is a place of dominion. It is a place of authority, Matthew 16vs18. Gate is a place of battle (Isaiah 28vs5-6); it is a place of recognition and reputation. Proverbs 31vs23
Having the understanding of what gate means, there is a need for us to also know that there are different types of gates that we must secure as children of God; if these gates are not secured, one will just be struggling in the marketplace of life. The first of these gates is the gate called the family gate. This can also mean a family life pattern. In some families, their pattern is failure at the edge of breakthrough, and if it is not conquered, such a person will struggle in the marketplace of life. For instance, Abraham secured the gate of blessings and wealth, but the gate of family pattern was not secured; his child (Isaac) and grandchild (Jacob) experienced delay, just like their father Abraham. The family gate needs to be secure if you must fully fulfill your purpose in life.
Another type of Gate is the political gate. These are people who determine what happens in a country, or they determine who will be in charge. A good example is the story of Daniel. Daniel had good reason to pray to God of heaven, but the political gate in the city conspired against him; they made a policy that would make it impossible for him to fulfill his purpose Daniel 6vs1-28. You may not fully achieve God's given purpose in life if this gate is not secured. This is because, if the policy makers in the land are making a policy that is not favorable, it will affect your growth.
Another example of a gate you need to know and conquer as a youth and as a child of God is the economic and trading gate. These are people who are in charge of the economics of a country; they are the ones who determine who can do well; they are in charge of business activities in the land. The man on whose hand the King leaned in 2 Kings 7vs2 is an example of the people we are talking about here 2 Kings 7vs1-20. These are people who determine what goes on in the marketplace of life.
Characteristics of these gates are: they mostly operate in secret. Their members are very wicked and they do not forgive easily; they always target people so they can be rendered useless. They are people who are bound by an evil covenant. You need to stand up and deal with these gates. Gate of wickedness, gate of famine (2 Kings 7vs1), gate of death (Psalm 9vs13), gate of desolation (Lamentation 1vs4), gate of hell (Matthew 16vs18), gate of limitation (Joshua 6vs1). These and many more are the gates you need to secure and conquer as a child of God if you must truly fulfill your purpose in the marketplace of life.
