WHAT CAN YOU DO TO BECOME A TRANSFORMED YOUTH?

1.  You need to identify where you are standing. Luke 15vs11-32.

The Prodigal son identified himself and that was why he could trace back the love of his father.

You need to look inward and check your life to know which camp you belong to. You need to know if you are in the camp of God or the world. You have to be truthful with yourself about this looking inward because it is the primary step for your transformative process.

2.  You need to surrender your heart and will to the Holy Spirit.

After identifying where you are standing, the next step is the surrounding stage. This means you do not have to make decisions about anything without receiving instruction from God.

3. You need to consciously disassociate yourself from the wrong associate. Amos 3vs3.

You have to be intentional about disassociating yourself from people who always drag your life into sin. This means, that if you truly want to be transformed, you need to run away from a polluted environment and friends.

4.  You need to be a goal-setter and a goal-getter.

The truth is, the future you do not picture, you cannot feature in it. You need to set goals for your life, and you must have Do's and Don't in life. You must have values for your life, and ensure your values for life are not neglected.

5.  You must embrace the love of God for your life.

You need to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour because Jesus Christ is the only person who can do the work of transformation in your life through the Holy Spirit by the power of God. It is only those who are in Christ who are enjoying the true transformation we are talking about. 2 Corinthians 5vs16-17.

CONCLUSION: God desires for you as his child is for you to move from the level of ordinary Christian to the level of supernatural Christian. He desires transformation that will cut across every aspect of your life; but the truth is, God cannot force his will upon you, you have to make that decision by yourself that you want to be living a transformative life.

You desire to become a Christian youth that will be on fire for God; just like one of the prayer points I always pray that God should set me on fire, and let the world come and light their candles through me. It is your decision that will determine if you will be transformed or not; if you can run to Jesus Christ with the whole of your life, your transformative process has started.
