I know you have heard a lot about The Holy Spirit but, I would like you to walk this journey with me, as the Lord will help us through the Holy Spirit to reveal the personality of the Holy Spirit to us through this message. John 14vs 26, John 16vs7, Luke 11vs13.

The first thing you need to go with today is that you must know that The Holy Spirit is the spirit of God. Genesis 1vs2.

The second thing you need to also understand is that, The Holy Spirit shows the omnipresence nature of God. That is, what makes God to be everywhere is His spirit (Psalms 139vs7-10). That God is everywhere, means his spirit is everywhere because the spirit of God is God himself.

Also, know this, Satan does not have an omnipresent nature like God; Satan only has agents in every corner of the earth who usually give him information about happening from time to time, but the Almighty God is everywhere at every time to see and get first-hand information about everything that is happening in Heaven, on earth and under the earth. That is why God (Holy Spirit) is called Omnipresence God.

Thirdly, the Holy Spirit is a person, He is not an “it”. Jesus Christ, our Lord introduced him to us in that book of John 16vs13 as He (A Person). Holy Spirit has a deep knowledge of God, and that is the more reason you have to be connected to him because with him you will know God more. John 15vs26.

The Holy Spirit opens your understanding of the meaning of the scriptures and shows you how they are applied to everyday living. John 14vs26.

Also, you need to know about The Holy Spirit that He is a person, He also possesses emotion and intellect like every other person. Ephesians 4vs30.

The word grief shows a type of emotion. Holy Spirit possesses the ability to love and that love can be grieved. The Holy Spirit, who is one with God, loves every believer whom He indwells. He grieves when we fail to respond to his teaching and instructions. Isaiah 63vs10.

We must also know that The Holy Spirit is not an influence or a mysterious power, but he is the third person in the Trinity who influences things and He always does mysterious wonders. He does things that are beyond the ability of man.

The Holy Spirit illuminates the minds of people; he makes us yearn for God, takes spiritual truth, and makes it understandable to us.

We need to also know that the Holy Spirit is available to all (Acts 2vs39), to empower and help believers to live holy lives. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, you become more like Jesus and He directs you to do the Father’s will. Acts 1vs8, Luke 11vs13.
