LIVING A BETTER LIFE 

Living a better life is the most important interest for every one of us if only we can allow God to direct us to His perfect Will without shifting our focus from Him.

On several occasions, people leave below the standard of God for their lives just because of a lack of insight into the divine Will of God for their purpose of living.

HOW TO DISCOVER YOUR BETTER LIFE

You must draw near to your maker the Almighty God. In this technology age, you dare not take your Toyota car to Jaguar cars or Honda accord garage for repair. In fact just be expecting one major damage on that car, it will be destroyed beyond repair because you took it to the wrong place. Also to every individual who doesn’t hand over his or her life to God but believes he or she has control over his or her life, such a person will soon encounter distractive destiny. James 4:8 says “Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you.”

IN TOTAL REPENTANCE AND COMMITMENT TO GOD

Whenever you drew near to God, it shows that your repentance is sure and God will accept your next step, God’s Will is different from your will, whosoever walk according to the will of God, there is an assurance of living a better life here on earth and in the world to come. Living a better life is your birthright, and that sin blindfolded your eyes in time pass doesn’t mean you cannot achieve it now. You have accepted Christ Jesus in truth and sincerity of mind. Isaiah 1:17-19 say “Learn to do good. Seek justice, arrest oppressors, defend orphans, plead the case of widows. Come, let’s discuss this! says the Lord. Though your sins are bright red, they will become as white as snow. Though they are dark red, they will become as white as wool. If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the best from the land.”

WILLING AND OBEDIENT.

We are so fast in willing to do the will of God but in times of obedience, it’s always difficult to walk in complete obedience. You desire God to usher you into your better life, you are willing to enter into his will then you have to obey all the rules.

The children of Israel in the land of Egypt were willing to leave the land but were not ready to obey God's instructions. To strike the difference between willing and obedient, “willing is a desire, obedient is to stay focus” you must desire God with the whole of your heart and stay focus on him alone before you will be able to access the good fruit of the land. You have control over your desire, you can even determine what it should look like in color, some women will desire baby girl and some baby boy as their firstborn but obedient will stay focus – it is far different from desire. Whatsoever your focus is, no matter the situation that may arise on your path, you become unshakeable. In the case of Joseph, he was not moved concerning his brother's attitude either the Potiphar wife plot. Joseph said in Genesis 39:9 (ASV), “he is not greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back anything from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness and sin against God?”

Joseph knew the curse implication behind the request of his master’s wife before the Almighty God, but obedient to God brought him into prison. There were two personalities visible to 

Joseph, if Joseph was to desire her, his destiny would have crashed in-between the lap of his master’s wife. 

He was focused, he knew what God told him via divine revelation, though God never showed him any vision related to going to prison – he was steadfast in his belief toward God even in his lonely hour. It is written:

“And it came to pass about this time, that he went into the house to do his work; and there were none of the men of the house there within. And she caught him by his garment, saying, Lie with me: and he left his garment in her hand, and fled, and got him out. And it came to pass when she saw that he had left his garment in her hand, and was fled forth” Genesis 39:11-13.

So many destiny has ended up between women’s lap as you are reading through, destiny crashers are still at work crashing and destroying lives. Though she offered herself to Joseph so cheap but he didn’t accept her offer, however, she cooked a story against him but he remains focused even in the prison. Above all, Joseph didn’t regret his decision by not lying with her master’s wife. To stay focus in obedient to God's instructions, you must believe him for a better day ahead.

When God promised Abraham a son, Abraham didn’t say to God I need a daughter instead of a son, and when he was instructed to leave his father’s land, he didn’t respond negatively but in obedience, he moved on to the next phase as God spoke to him.

COVENANT OF LIVING A BETTER LIFE. Genesis 17:2-10  

The Covenant of living a better life will not just arrive at your doorsteps not until you have the ability to hear and listen to the owner of a better life. He will not establish this covenant with you until you hear Him by simply accepting Christ Jesus as your Lord and savior. Though people desire to live a better life but there is a price to be paid to be able to obtain the prize. God says to Abraham;

“The [Lord] said to Abam: Leave your country, your family, and your relatives and go to the land that I will show you. I will bless you and make your descendants into a great nation. You will become famous and be a blessing to others. I will bless those who bless you, but I will put a curse on anyone who puts a curse on you. Everyone on earth will be blessed because of you.” Genesis 12:1-3 (CEV).

You must leave where you are and venture into another path of destiny journey it must be directed by God Almighty, the controller of the master map of your destiny. Before Abraham enjoy the fullness of Godly covenant, he has to leave the (LAND OF UR), until God found Abraham faithful by believing in God – the Bible says “And he believed in the LORD, and He accounted it to him for righteousness.” What about you? You must believe in God for Divine direction.

However, believing God is for your good and generational benefit. Dear reader, you have to make a u-turn for supernatural direction just as Abraham did. As you do, God shall back you up today in Jesus' name.
